According to Intrinsic, Aster ericoides ‘First Snow’ has a unique bushy habit growing around 24” tall and spreading even wider. It blooms from late September into October with hundreds of tiny white flowers that cover the plant. The plants have fine needle like foliage on arching stems.
These easy to grow and hardy plants prefer a moist to well drained soil in full sun and are very drought tolerant.
This new Aster combines well with other fall bloomers and grasses like Pennisetum ‘Piglet’ PP#19,074.
