Description

The design philosophy of the firm is context driven. We seek to make each project blend into its natural, cultural, historic and social setting. We incorporate sustainable design, using the latest technologies that will result in long term cost savings to the client. The results created are environmentally sensitive, comfortable and flexible. The client/owner retains a lasting value.
Projects include: healing gardens, arboretums, residential garden design, horse farms and parks.

College of Envir. Sci. & Forestry, Syracuse, BES 1977 & BLA 1978
SUNY Alfred Agriculture &Tech College AAS 1975: Ornamental Horticulture
Mr. Fernandez has a variety of extensive experience related to horticulture, maintenance management, cemetery and park design, highway, urban, residential, and subdivision design. As an ecological planner, landscape architect, and horticulturist Mr. Fernandez is committed to the restoration and rehabilitation of native landscapes using indigenous plant material, and recognizes the importance of developing cost effective designs which address long-term maintenance issues.
